Qudsia

Qudsia is Artistry’s saree collection, bringing together handworked drapes for weddings, celebrations and heirloom dressing. Each saree is considered through fabric, fall and surface, allowing mukaish, zardozi and other handwork to remain in conversation with the movement of the cloth.

THE WORLD OF QUDSIA

The Saree, Held in Drape and Handwork

Qudsia approaches the saree as a complete expression of fabric, movement and handwork. The collection moves from luminous, restrained surfaces to more ceremonial embroidery while preserving the grace of the drape.

Drape Before Decoration

The starting point is always the cloth: how it falls, gathers and moves around the body. Ornament is considered only after the character of the fabric has been allowed to lead.

The Hand on the Surface

Mukaish, zardozi and other traditional handwork are used according to the fabric and the occasion, creating depth and light without turning the saree into a rigid surface.

The Qudsia Language

Qudsia is shaped by fluid drape, premium pure fabrics and handwork with an artisanal presence. The saree remains the focus, with embroidery and metallic detail used to strengthen rather than overpower its movement.

Qudsia is the saree as an heirloom in motion. Each piece brings together cloth, handwork and drape in a form that can move between ceremony, celebration and memory.
