Gul-e-Zamani

Gul-e-Zamani is an ivory pure silk velvet doshalā framed by a richly handworked floral border. Its luminous velvet field is deliberately restrained, allowing the embroidery to define the piece with colour, depth and ceremonial detail.

Antique-gold dabka and nakshi form the sculpted framework of the border, interspersed with sequins, cutdana and coloured resham in jewel tones of purple, teal and deep red. The floral composition brings vibrancy to the ivory ground while preserving the quiet refinement of an heirloom shawl.
